CINE-SPRINT: THE GOLDEN HOUR CHALLENGE

1. THE CHALLENGE & SUBMISSION

By checking the "I Agree" box or by typing my name where indicated (collectively, my "Electronic Signature"), I, the "Lead Producer & Team Captain," agree to enter the Cine-Sprint: Golden Hour Challenge. I acknowledge and agree that this Electronic Signature is the legally binding equivalent of my handwritten signature under NRS Chapter 719. I (the "Lead Producer & Team Captain") agree to enter the Cine-Sprint: Golden Hour Challenge. I acknowledge that I am the sole designated point of contact and the primary official entrant for my production team.

• Sole Responsibility: I understand and agree that I am the Main Producer and the individual exclusively responsible for the conduct of my production, my crew, and all activities on my film sets.

• Legal Compliance: I certify that I am solely responsible for ensuring that all filming activities, locations, and personnel under my direction comply with all federal, state, union, and local laws, including the laws and regulations of the State of Nevada.

• Deliverables: I understand that all film submissions must be uploaded by May 29, 2026, and must strictly adhere to the "Golden Hour" creative requirements as outlined in the official brief. Failure to comply with these terms or local laws may result in immediate disqualification.

2. MODIFICATIONS & EXTENSIONS

CineVega reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify the challenge timeline, including extending the submission deadline or changing the date of the winner announcement. Any such changes will be communicated via email to registered participants and updated on the official website.

​

3. Registration & Eligibility:

Team registration and waiver completion are prerequisites for entry but do not constitute a completed submission. Only films that are fully uploaded, paid for, comply with all our rules, and are received by the final deadline will be considered for judging and prizes. CineVega is not responsible for incomplete projects, technical failures during upload, or a team’s inability to finish their film within the challenge window. No extensions or refunds will be granted for unfinished work.

4. PAYMENTS & REFUND POLICY:

All submission fees are non-refundable. Once a payment is processed, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Incomplete Projects: Failure to finish or upload your film by the deadline.

• Technical Issues: Personal equipment failure or internet connectivity issues during submission.

• Disqualification: If a film is found to be in violation of the Challenge Guidelines (including but not limited to: use of AI, nudity, copyright infringement, or filming outside of the designated Golden Hour), it will be disqualified immediately without a refund of the entry fee.

CineVega reserves the right to make the final determination on all disqualifications.

4. MEDIA, SCREENING, & CONTENT RELEASE

I, the Lead Producer & Team Captain, hereby grant CineVega and its affiliates a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, and worldwide license to:

• Public Screening: Publicly exhibit, screen, and distribute the submitted film (the "Work") in its entirety at the Cine-Sprint: Golden Hour Challenge screening event and any subsequent CineVega festivals or showcases.

• Promotional Use: Use, reproduce, and edit "stills" (photographs) and "clips" (video excerpts) from the Work for the purposes of advertising, publicity, and promotion of the Cine-Sprint and CineVega. This includes, but is not limited to, use on social media, websites, sizzle reels, and printed marketing materials.

• Name & Likeness: Use my name, voice, photograph, and likeness, as well as the names and likenesses of my cast and crew, in connection with the Work and the promotion of the Challenge.

• Authority & Clearances: I represent and warrant that I am the sole owner of all rights to the Work or have obtained all necessary legal permissions, licenses, and releases from all third parties (including cast, crew, music, and locations). I agree to indemnify and hold CineVega harmless from any claims arising out of the screening or promotion of the Work.

5. EVENT CLARIFICATION:

The Cine-Sprint: Golden Hour Challenge is a standalone filmmaking competition and is distinct from the flagship CineVega Outdoor Film Festival scheduled for 2026/2027.

• Independent Entry: Participation in, or winning, this Cine-Sprint does not constitute entry into the main outdoor CineVega flagship festival.

• Location of Events: All screenings, judging, and award ceremonies associated with the Cine-Sprint: Golden Hour Challenge will be held exclusively at SPCKRFT Studios.

• No Automatic Transfer: Winning films from this challenge are not automatically programmed for future CineVega events unless explicitly invited by the festival organizers.

6. PRODUCTION LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION

1. INDEPENDENT PRODUCTION The Lead Producer & Team Captain (the "Producer") acknowledges that they and their team are independent creators and are not employees, agents, or contractors of CineVega or SPCKRFT Studios. The Producer agrees that CineVega provides challenge parameters only and does not supervise, manage, or control any film set or production process. The Producer maintains exclusive control over all creative and safety decisions.

2. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY CineVega is not liable for any costs, expenses, or losses incurred by the Producer or their team. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Production Costs: Equipment rentals, talent fees, craft services, or post-production expenses.

• Permits & Fines: The Producer is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary filming permits and permissions for their locations within the State of Nevada or any other jurisdiction. CineVega is not liable for any legal fees, fines, or citations resulting from unauthorized filming, trespassing, or failure to comply with local ordinances.

​

SAFETY & LAWFUL PRODUCTION CineVega and SPCKRFT Studios maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding illegal acts, trespassing, or unsafe filming practices. The Lead Producer & Team Captain is strictly responsible for the conduct of their cast and crew and must ensure all filming is conducted in compliance with the laws of the State of Nevada and all local municipal codes.

• No Trespassing: Producers must obtain express written permission from property owners before filming on private property.

• Permitting: It is the Producer's sole responsibility to secure necessary film permits for public right-of-ways, parks, or restricted areas.

• Public Safety: Any production found to be endangering the public, obstructing traffic without a permit, or utilizing unauthorized pyrotechnics/weapons will be subject to immediate disqualification.

DISQUALIFICATION CineVega reserves the right to disqualify any Work, without a refund of entry fees, if it is determined that the film was produced in violation of local laws, safety standards, or the rights of third parties.

​

3. INSURANCE & ON-SET SAFETY The Producer is the primary party responsible for their own safety and the safety of their cast and crew.

• Liability: CineVega and SPCKRFT Studios are not liable for any personal injury, illness, or death occurring during the production of a Cine-Sprint entry.

• Worker’s Compensation & Coverage: The Producer acknowledges that CineVega does not provide worker’s compensation, liability insurance, or medical coverage for any team member.

• Equipment & Property: The Producer is solely responsible for the security of their gear. CineVega is not responsible for the theft, loss, or damage of any cameras, equipment, or personal property.

​

4. HOLD HARMLESS & INDEMNIFICATION By submitting an entry, the Lead Producer & Team Captain agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CineVega, its organizers, and SPCKRFT Studios from any and all claims, damages, or lawsuits arising out of the Producer’s production. This includes, but is not limited to, third-party claims for property damage, personal injury, or intellectual property infringement. The Producer agrees to be the sole point of legal contact and responsible party for any disputes arising from their team’s conduct.

7. PRIZES & AWARDS: OFFICIAL TERMS

1. SOLE DISCRETION & FINALITY CineVega serves as the final authority on all challenge outcomes. The selection of winners, the awarding of prizes, and the interpretation of all challenge rules are at the sole and absolute discretion of the CineVega organizers. All judging decisions and award calls are final and are not subject to appeal or review.

​

The $2,000 Cine-Sprint Creative Grant is awarded exclusively as a service credit consisting of ten (10) hours of studio production time at SPCKRFT Studios.

​

2. NON-TRANSFERABLE & NO CASH VALUE Except for the designated $500 Cash Grand Prize, all non-monetary prizes—including the $2,000 SPCKRFT Studios Credit referred to as "creative grant" and the Two (2) VIP Tickets to the CineVega flagship festival—carry no cash value.

• No Substitutions: Prizes may not be exchanged, traded, or redeemed for cash, credit, or alternative awards.

• Non-Transferable: Prizes are awarded specifically to the registered Team Captain and may not be sold, gifted, or transferred to any third party or other filmmaking team.

 

SECTION: THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD & PRIZE CONTINGENCY

The Power is in the Hands of the Audience. Every attendee present at the awards ceremony receives a vote to decide the winner of this dedicated honor. The film that captures the heart of the audience will receive the ultimate recognition: The First Festival Opener.

​

The Winner Receives:

• Official Selection: Your film will officially open the inaugural CineVega Flagship Festival.

• The People’s Choice Trophy: A custom-designed award recognizing your team’s achievement.

• VIP Access: Two (2) VIP All-Access passes to the first CineVega Flagship Festival.

• ​

PRIZE TERMS & CONTINGENCY: CineVega is committed to the launch and execution of the Flagship Festival; however, all "Future Event" prizes (including the "Festival Opener" title and VIP Passes) are subject to the following:

1. Event Finality: The scheduling, venue, and execution of the CineVega Flagship Festival are at the sole discretion of the organizers. CineVega reserves the right to reschedule, postpone, or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to venue availability, safety regulations, or "Acts of God."

2. No Cash Value: Prizes related to future event attendance or "Opening Film" status hold no cash value and are non-transferable.

3. Liability Waiver: In the event the CineVega Flagship Festival is postponed or cancelled, the Team Captain agrees that CineVega and its partners shall not be held liable for any damages, loss of opportunity, or expenses incurred. No refunds or alternative compensation will be provided in lieu of "Future Event" prizes.

4. Discretionary Substitution: CineVega reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value (such as a digital screening or studio credits) if the physical festival cannot be held as planned.

3. THIRD-PARTY PRIZE FULFILLMENT (SPCKRFT Studios) The $2,000 Studio Credit is a gift provided by SPCKRFT Studios.

• Redemption: Use of the credit is subject to the studio’s availability, standard house rules, insurance requirements, and booking procedures.

• Expirations: Any unused portion of the credit may be subject to an expiration date determined by the studio at the time of award.

• Liability: CineVega is not responsible for any disputes, scheduling conflicts, or issues arising between the winner and SPCKRFT Studios during the redemption of the prize.

• Direct Relationship: The $2,000 Studio Credit (gifted as 10 hours of studio time) is a third-party prize provided and managed exclusively by SPCKRFT Studios. Upon the awarding of this prize, the winner enters into a direct service relationship with the studio.

• Separate Paperwork Required: Redemption of the credit is strictly contingent upon the winner executing SPCKRFT Studios’ own separate rental agreements, liability waivers, and insurance documentation. CineVega has no authority over, and is not a party to, the studio’s internal contracts or booking policies.

• Administrative Hand-off: CineVega’s responsibility ends upon the delivery of the prize notification/voucher to the winner. CineVega is not responsible for the studio’s scheduling, equipment availability, facility rules, or any disputes that may arise during the winner’s use of the credit.

​

8. Technical Requirements

FILM SPECIFICATIONS

• Duration: Films must be between 60 and 240 seconds (1 to 4 minutes) in total length, inclusive of all titles and credits.

• The "Golden Hour" Aesthetic: To align with the challenge theme, all principal photography must be shot using Golden Hour light.

  • Outdoor/Natural: Filming during the actual astronomical golden hour (the hour after sunrise or before sunset). Must be a majority of the films duration to be shot outside during golden hour. 

  • Indoor/Artificial: If filming indoors or outside of natural windows, the Producer must utilize lighting techniques, natural lighting through the window, gels, or practicals to authentically recreate the Golden Hour aesthetic (warm, directional, low-angle light).

• File Format: Submissions must be uploaded in MP4 or MOV format (H.264 or H.265 codec preferred).

• File Size Limit: The final file must not exceed 4 GB.

​

2. CONTENT & GENRE GUIDELINES While we welcome any genre—from narrative fiction to experimental shorts—the Lead Producer must ensure the Work strictly adheres to the following content standards:

• Originality & Source Material:

  • No AI: The use of generative AI for video or scripts is strictly prohibited.

  • No Stock Footage: All visual elements must be original footage captured specifically for this challenge.

• Prohibited Content:

  • No Nudity: Any depiction of nudity will result in immediate disqualification.

  • No Child Violence: Depictions of violence against or involving minors or animals are strictly forbidden.

  • Excessive Gore: Avoid gratuitous gore. Minor injuries (e.g., nosebleeds or small cuts) are acceptable within the context of the story. Think PG-13. 

• Themes & Messaging:

  • Social & Documentary: We welcome films exploring social issues, documentary subjects, and political themes.

  • Non-Partisan: While social issue commentary in informational or documentary style format is encouraged, films must avoid partisan messaging (i.e., content functioning as an endorsement for specific political candidates or parties, or content for or against a presidential candidate or political parties or disparaging content against a class of humans in a political manner). 

  • Content Standards: CineVega reserves the right to refuse the screening of any content that is deemed legally problematic (e.g., hate speech, actual illegal acts, or copyright infringement).

​

3. PRODUCER’S ATTESTATION By submitting, the Lead Producer & Team Captain certifies that the film meets all above requirements. CineVega reserves the right to disqualify any entry, without refund of entry fees, that is found to be in violation of these technical or content standards.

​

Music & Copyright: Participants must have documented permission or own the rights to all music, sound effects, and stock footage used in their film. CineVega and SPCKRFT Studios are not responsible for any copyright infringement. Use of unlicensed music is grounds for immediate disqualification without a refund.

​

Technical Requirements: All submissions must be in .MP4 or .MOV (H.264) format and under 4GB in size. CineVega is not responsible for slow upload speeds or technical failures due to large file sizes. We require your upload to start at least 5 hours before the final deadline. 

• The 5-Hour Requirement: To account for high traffic and varying internet speeds, all teams are required to begin their film upload no later than 6:59 PM PST (5 hours prior to the final deadline).

• Technical Failure Policy: CineVega and SPCKRFT Studios are not responsible for incomplete submissions, server timeouts, or upload failures. Submissions that are still "In Progress" at 11:59 PM PST will be considered late and disqualified. No exceptions will be made for teams who begin their upload after the 6:59 PM PST safety window.

​

CineVega reserves the right to request raw project files or 'Behind the Scenes' proof to verify the absence of AI generation if a film is under consideration for a prize.

​

9.Attendance & Media Release:

By attending any Cine-Sprint event (including the Mixer and Screening), all participants and guests grant CineVega and SPCKRFT Studios the right to use their likeness, voice, and image in promotional photography and video without compensation or further approval."

​

10. Event Changes:

CineVega reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or move the screening and awards ceremony to an online format in the event of circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, facility failure, or public health orders). In such cases, judging will proceed, and no refunds will be issued.

​

• Venue Capacity: If submission volume exceeds the capacity of the initial partner venue, CineVega may relocate the event to a larger facility to accommodate the community.

• No Refunds for Changes: Changes to the event date, time, or physical location do not entitle participants to a refund of their submission fees.

• Timeline: CineVega aims to hold the final event within approximately 45 days of the May 29th submission deadline, but the official date is at the sole discretion of the organizers.

​

VIRTUAL CONTINGENCY: In the event that a physical screening is not feasible for any reason, CineVega reserves the right to host the awards ceremony in a virtual/online format.

​

11. MINORS & PARENTAL CONSENT

1. PARTICIPATION BY MINORS Any Participant (including the Lead Producer, cast, or crew) who is under the age of 18 at the time of registration is considered a Minor.

​

2. MANDATORY CO-SIGNATURE For any Minor participating in the Cine-Sprint, a parent or legal guardian must co-sign the Official Entry Agreement & Liability Waiver during the registration process.

• Lead Producers under 18: If the Team Captain is a minor, their parent/guardian must sign as the legally responsible party for the entire production.

• Cast & Crew under 18: The Lead Producer & Team Captain certifies that they have obtained signed parental consent/likeness releases for every minor appearing in or working on the Work.​

​

3. GUARDIAN RESPONSIBILITY By co-signing, the parent or legal guardian agrees to be bound by all terms of this Agreement, including the Production Liability & Indemnification clauses. The parent/guardian assumes full legal and financial responsibility for the Minor’s actions, safety, and conduct during the challenge.

​

4. PRODUCER’S WARRANTY The Lead Producer & Team Captain warrants that no minor will be permitted on their film set or included in the submitted Work without a valid, executed parental consent form on file. Failure to provide proof of such consent upon request by CineVega may result in immediate disqualification of the Work.

​

12. REGISTRATION FEES & DEADLINES

The Lead Producer & Team Captain is responsible for a single registration fee per team. This fee covers the entire production team’s entry and includes the benefits outlined below. All fees are non-refundable.

Registration TierFee (Per Team)

• EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION ($35 per Team): Available from April 11th through April 22nd. This tier includes two (2) free Screening & Awards tickets, a guaranteed screening block (must meet all official rules), and the exclusive Director’s Digital Toolkit.

• REGULAR REGISTRATION ($45 per Team): Available from April 23rd through May 13th. This tier includes two (2) free Screening & Awards tickets and a guaranteed screening block (must meet all official rules).

• LAST CHANCE REGISTRATION ($65 per Team): Available from May 14th through May 29th. This tier includes two (2) free Screening & Awards tickets and a guaranteed screening block (must meet all official rules).

1. PAYMENT RESPONSIBILITY

The Lead Producer must complete payment in full to finalize their entry into the Cine-Sprint. Registration is not considered "Official" until the Agreement is signed and the fee is processed at cinevega.com.

​

2. GUARANTEED SCREENING

*To qualify for the Guaranteed Screening Block, the final film must meet all Technical & Content Requirements (Section 1) and be submitted by the final deadline of May 29, 2026. Films that violate content rules or technical specs may be disqualified without a refund.

​

3. ADDITIONAL TICKETS

Each registration includes two (2) complimentary tickets to the Cine-Sprint Screening & Awards Event. Additional tickets for cast, crew, and guests will be available for separate purchase while supplies last.

​

To account for potential technical delays, file processing times, and internet connectivity fluctuations, the Lead Producer & Team Captain is required to begin the upload process for any deadline-related materials (including registration forms and the final film submission) at least five (5) hours prior to the 11:59 PM PST cutoff.

​

APPLICATION TO ALL DEADLINES This 5-hour buffer applies to every tier of the Cine-Sprint: Golden Hour Challenge:

• Early Bird Deadline: Upload must begin by 6:59 PM PST on April 22nd.

• Regular Deadline: Upload must begin by 6:59 PM PST on May 13th.

• Last Chance / Final Submission: Upload must begin by 6:59 PM PST on May 29th.

​

REGISTRATION FINALITY & NON-COMPLETION Registration fees are non-refundable and constitute a commitment to participate. In the event that a team is unable to complete or submit their film by the final deadline for any reason—including creative blocks, technical failures, or personal scheduling conflicts—the Lead Producer & Team Captain is not entitled to a refund, credit, or exchange. Furthermore, teams that do not submit a qualifying film forfeit their inclusive screening tickets and any other participation-contingent benefits

​

13. The "Chain of Title" & Talent Warranty

1. TALENT & LIKENESS WARRANTIES The Participant (Team Captain) represents and warrants that they have obtained permanent, written, and legally binding Talent Release Forms from every individual appearing in the film (including background extras and voice-over talent).

​

• Scope of Rights: These releases must grant the Participant the irrevocable right to use the talent’s name, voice, performance, and likeness in all media, including the public screening at SPCKRFT Studios and CineVega’s social media promotions.

• Minors: If any talent is under the age of 18, the Participant warrants they have obtained a release signed by a parent or legal guardian.

​

2. THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS & THE "DUTY TO DEFEND"
Should any individual (including talent, crew, or any third party) bring a legal claim, demand, or lawsuit against CineVega or SPCKRFT Studios related to the Producer’s film—including claims for unauthorized use of image, voice, or likeness—the Lead Producer & Team Captain agrees to the following:

​

Duty to Defend: The Producer shall, at their own expense, provide a legal defense for CineVega and SPCKRFT Studios immediately upon notice of a claim.

Indemnification: The Producer agrees to take full financial responsibility for any judgments, settlements, or damages awarded to the third party.

Full Reimbursement: The Producer shall reimburse CineVega and SPCKRFT Studios for all costs incurred, including reasonable attorney’s fees, expert witness fees, and court costs, regardless of whether the claim ever goes to trial.

​

3. RIGHT TO AUDIT & DOCUMENTATION
CineVega operates as a platform for independent creators and does not provide legal clearance for individual productions. To ensure compliance:

Proof of Clearance: CineVega reserves the right to request copies of any talent releases, location permits, or music licenses at any time.

​

Compliance Deadline: Upon request, the Lead Producer must provide valid documentation within 48 hours.

Disqualification: Failure to provide proof of legal clearance, or the discovery of unauthorized third-party content, is grounds for immediate disqualification of the Work from the challenge and screening, without a refund of any fees.

​

​

14. OWNERSHIP & MEDIA LICENSE

FILMMAKER OWNERSHIP The Lead Producer & Team Captain (or the respective rights holders) shall retain 100% of the underlying ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights in and to the submitted film. Participation in the Cine-Sprint: Golden Hour Challenge does not transfer ownership of the Work to CineVega or SPCKRFT Studios.

​

GRANT OF LICENSE By submitting an entry, the Lead Producer hereby grants CineVega and SPCKRFT Studios a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, and worldwide license to use the film in the following capacities:

• Exhibition: To screen the film in its entirety during the official Cine-Sprint screening events, award ceremonies, and any future "Best of" festival showcases.

• Streaming: To stream the film on official CineVega or SPCKRFT Studios digital platforms and websites.

• Promotion: To use "stills" (photos) and "clips" (video excerpts) from the film for the purposes of advertising, marketing, and promoting the Cine-Sprint and CineVega across all media, including social media, sizzle reels, and press releases.

​

PRODUCER WARRANTY The Lead Producer warrants that they have the full legal authority to grant this license and that the exercise of these rights by CineVega will not infringe upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.

​

15. SECTION: RETROACTIVE APPLICATION & RATIFICATION OF CONDUCT

1. SCOPE OF AGREEMENT: REGISTRATION REQUIRED PRIOR TO PRODUCTION All teams must officially register on our challenge page at cinevega.com before beginning any principal photography.

 

The Participant (Team Captain) acknowledges and agrees that the terms of this Agreement, including all Indemnification, Release of Liability, and Talent Warranties, apply retroactively to any and all activities related to the production of their Cine-Sprint entry. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Pre-production, location scouting, and talent recruitment.

• All principal photography, b-roll, and audio recording.

• Post-production and editing.

​

2. VALIDATION OF PRIOR ACTS: By registering and checking the "I Agree" box or visiting our competition page or viewing our competition social media postings, the Participant warrants that all actions taken prior to the date of registration were conducted in accordance with the safety, legal, and copyright standards set forth in these Official Rules. The Participant explicitly agrees that any injury, property damage, or legal dispute that occurred before the formal date of this registration is governed by the Hold Harmless and Indemnification clauses of this Agreement.

​

3. NO "PRE-SIGNING" EXCEPTION: The Participant waives any right to claim that they are not bound by these rules because their filming occurred prior to their registration. The act of submitting a film and paying the entry fee constitutes a Full Ratification of these terms for the entire duration of the production cycle.

​

16. SECTION: NON-BINDING PARTICIPATION & NO ASSUMPTION OF DUTY

1. NO LEGAL RELATIONSHIP WITHOUT REGISTRATION CineVega and SPCKRFT Studios do not enter into a legal relationship, contract, or "duty of care" with any individual or group until Step 1: Registration is fully completed, and the Waiver is signed.

• Independent Filming: Any person filming content "inspired by" or "intended for" the Cine-Sprint prior to official registration does so as a private citizen.

• No Agency: Viewing CineVega’s social media, marketing materials, or "Golden Hour" prompts does not constitute an agreement or authorization to film.

​

2. NO LIABILITY FOR NON-SUBMITTED WORKS CineVega and SPCKRFT Studios are strictly not liable for any injuries, accidents, property damage, or legal violations (e.g., trespassing or permit fines) incurred by teams who:

• Fail to complete the official Registration process.

• Abandon their production before submission.

• Fail to pay the required Submission Fee.

• Are disqualified for any reason. If you do not register, you are not a "Participant," and CineVega has no knowledge of, or responsibility for, your production activities.

​

3. TOTAL ABSENCE OF SUPERVISION Even upon official registration, CineVega does not provide oversight, management, or safety supervision of any kind.

• The Participant acknowledges that CineVega is not "on-set" and has no control over the filming environment. Any injury, regardless of severity, is the sole responsibility of the Team Captain and their independent production.

• No "Promotion" of Risk: CineVega’s creative prompts (e.g., "Golden Hour") are artistic suggestions only and do not authorize any participant to engage in risky, illegal, or unsafe behavior to achieve a shot.

17. SECTION: TICKETING & EVENT ACCESS

1. PARTICIPANT CREDITS (THE "COMP" POLICY) Each registered film team will receive two (2) complimentary "All-Access Pass" tickets upon the successful submission of their film. These credits include:

• Entry to the team’s designated Screening Block.

• Entry to the Final Awards Ceremony.

• Note: These credits are non-transferable and must be claimed by the Team Captain during the official ticketing window.

2. ADDITIONAL TICKETING (FRIENDS, FAMILY & CREW) We love a full house! To accommodate larger crews, friends, and family, additional tickets will be available for purchase once the screening schedule is finalized.

• Individual Tickets: Available for specific Screening Blocks or the Awards Ceremony.

• The "Cine-Bundle": A discounted pass for those who wish to attend both the screening and the awards.

• Pricing: Official ticket pricing will be announced in June.

3. REGISTRATION VS. TICKETING The Cine-Sprint Submission Fee covers the administrative and judging costs of the competition. The value of the tickets is non-refundable or transferable and does not hold any cash value. While each team is granted two complimentary passes, any attendees beyond the initial two-person credit will require a paid ticket for entry. Due to venue capacity and fire marshal regulations, every individual in the building must have a valid ticket or credential. Capacity Limits: While two tickets are "guaranteed" per team, CineVega is not liable for the inability to provide additional paid tickets if the venue reaches maximum legal capacity.

18. DIRECTOR’S DIGITAL TOOLKIT (EARLYBIRD ONLY):

The Digital Toolkit is a promotional "bonus" for Earlybird registrants.

• Delivery: Access will be provided via the email address used during registration.

• No Warranty: Tools and assets are provided "as-is," and CineVega makes no warranties regarding their compatibility with specific editing software.

19. REGISTRATION DEPOSIT & SUBMISSION FEE

THE $15 COMMITMENT To officially enter the Cine-Sprint: Golden Hour Challenge a $15 non-refundable Registration Deposit is required. This deposit confirms your intent to compete and grants you access to the technical specs, and mandatory filming requirements.

APPLIED CREDIT Your $15 deposit will be credited toward your final submission fee. When you are ready to upload your film by or before the May 29th deadline, you will simply pay the remaining balance of your chosen tier:

• Early Bird: Total $35 (You pay remaining $20 at submission)

• Regular: Total $45 (You pay remaining $30 at submission)

• Last Chance: Total $65 (You pay remaining $50 at submission)

20. UNION & GUILD COMPLIANCE (SAG-AFTRA / DGA / WGA)

CineVega is a third-party platform and is not a signatory to any collective bargaining agreements.

• Sole Responsibility: Any and all union or guild compliance is the exclusive and private responsibility of the Team Captain. This includes, but is not limited to, the filing of "Short Film," "New Media," or "Micro-Budget" agreements and the execution of all required performer contracts.

• Independent Status: The Team Captain acknowledges that CineVega will not sign, review, or facilitate any union paperwork. The Team Captain acts as the sole "Employer of Record" and production entity for their project. The Team Captain agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold CineVega and its partners harmless against any and all claims, fines, dues, or grievances filed by labor unions or guilds.

• Indemnification & Safe Harbor: The Team Captain agrees to indemnify and hold CineVega harmless against any claims, fines, or grievances. In the event of a union inquiry, the Team Captain is legally required to identify themselves as the sole responsible party and clarify that CineVega has no contractual or financial involvement in the production's labor practices.

21. Affiliation & Partnership Notice CineVega is an independent organization. While we are proud to partner with SPCKRFT Studios as a host and collaborator for our filmmaking challenges and events, CineVega and SPCKRFT Studios are separate and distinct entities. This collaboration does not imply shared ownership, and each party remains responsible for its own respective operations, services, and content.

GOVERNING PROVISIONS

Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Rules is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions of these Terms and Rules will continue in full force and effect.

​

Right to Amend: CineVega reserves the exclusive right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Rules at any time without prior notice. Continued participation in the Cine-Sprint: Golden Hour Challenge following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
